Description: In 1973, Sampo Co. promoted their color television “Napoleon” to the market and became very popular. In an effort to fight for the market share, Tatung soon introduced a more deluxe version of television and named it “Venus,” the mythological goddess, to compete with Napoleon. Tatung’s Venus was hugely popular, too.
