Abstract:
Zhuang describes that during the early development of the household appliance industry, Tatung, as well as many other manufacturers, offered a lot of job opportunities. The song "Wishes of an Orphanaged Girl" depicts the time when population in villages was shrinking due to emigration, females became the main hold of the work force, and laborers bore hardships without complaints.
