Description: A raw material for iron-making and steel-making. When the pig iron is produced in the blast furnace, Fe-Si is added to reinforce the hardness of the steel for a better quality. Fe-Si can also be used as a deoxidant and an alloy element to produce a high-quality silicon steel sheets. (Donated by CSC)
