Abstract:
Xu talks about how due to the lack of oil reserves, Taiwan has to rely on oil imports and thus international oil prices have posed limitations on the development of the petrochemical industry in Taiwan. In order to lessen the capital pressure in the industry, the government launched a tax rebate system.
