Description: The full clothing of a tapping operator includes a blue uniform, flameproof coat, helmet and mask on the head, leather gloves on both hands, long leather boots, leg wrappings, and finally an aluminum foil suit. The tapping operator often worked near the iron runner of the blast furnace. Since the temperature of the molten iron is over 1000 ℃, the full clothing was necessary to protect the operator from being hurt. (Donated by China Steel Corporation)
