This machine is to seam the food cans. The operator first puts the cap on the body, and then puts it on the lifter, which is controlled by pedals, to seam them together. This seamer uses the double fold seal system: the first seal presses the body and the cap together, and the second seal seams the can completely. This machine was made in 1964 and can seam about 30 cans per minute. (Donated by Huizhong Food Co.)
